Description:
An exquisite glass
decanter made by Mdina glass works in Malta.
The glass has a
tortoiseshell abstract pattern against a moss green.
The colours are
complex and layered, creating a sense of depth not captured in these
photos. The decanter retains it's original sticker and has an etched signature
on the base.
Mdina was founded
in Malta in 1968 by Michael Harris, a glass blower from the UK. Mdina ceased
operations in Malta in the 1970's due to an unstable political situation.
