Description:
A charming and unusual
pair of vintage candle holders in a deep red glaze with blue highlights.
Whether or not this was the designers intent, they look for all the world
like birds wearing hats.
There is a stamped
impression "Canada" on the base, it is under the glaze and very tricky
to pick up in the photo. These are possibly Beauce but may be another Canadian
pottery as this colour seems out of the ordinary for Beauceware.
Condition:
Very good pre-owned
condition, no damage.
Dimensions:
9" x 2" x 6 1/4"
high.
