Description:
A lovely double
lily brooch circa 1950, made by Askel Holmson of Norway. The sterling silver
is minutely engraved and then enamelled, a technique reffered to as guilloché
(pronounced gee-oh-shay)
The brooch is stamped
with both Holmsen's mark and Sterling 925 S. The brooch closes via a straight
pin with a C clasp.
Condition:
Very good pre-owned
condition, no damage.
