Description:
A beautiful
Persian saddle bag normally used on camels.
The saddle bag features
a fine weave in deep reds, blue and white (the part that would be displayed
on the sides of the camel) the middle (backing) is a looser weave in vivid
orange, red and indigo stripes. The wool is most likely camel hair.
Should you have just sold your camel: this looks wonderful draped over
a couch or the seams could be opened for use as a rug.
The seams are overcast
hand stitching in decorative wool.
Condition:
Very good condition,
no damage or marks.
Dimensions:
40" x 60", add 46"
to length if seams are opened for use as a rug.
