Description:
A beautiful small
Victorian camel back trunk.
Pressed red painted
tin floral details adorn this wooden trunk most likely for a child as the
original stone lithograph inside the lid features a little girl rather
than a woman's portrait found on the larger versions of this type of trunk.
Small metal wheels
on the bottom allow it to be easily pushed across the floor. Perfect for
linens or as a toy box.
Condition:
The leather side
handles are gone, interior floral paper was probably added at a much later
date and is ragged in spots. The side latches work the middle lock/latch
does not. The trunk shows it's age but has lost none of it's charm.
