Description:
An antique grinder
made by Webster's circa 1886, quite substantial with ornamental grape leaf
pattern on the clamping mechanism. I have not tried to sharpen anything
with this as I am not entirely sure how it works, however it turns freely,
spinning the stone sharpener. A great ornamental piece even if you don't
have an axe to grind.
Condition:
Very good condition.
Dimensions:
12" x 1 3/4" x 1"
Maker's Marks:
Webster's Pat. Grinder,
Aug. 18, 86
