Description:
A remarkable vintage
fur trim parka in blue felt with an elaborate appliqué quilted hunting
scene on the back involving an Inuit hunter, polar bears and sled dogs.
The coat has embroidered snowshoes on the front pockets. Most striking
of course is the fully applied fox head on the front. The coat bears the
embroidered initials of the maker (James Bay) on the back of the coat.
Condition:
Fair pre-owned condition,
no damage, some areas of wear.
