A large, beautifully executed painting by Virginia Kieran (nee Wilson) daughter of York Wilson. Painted in the 1980s, the underwater scene features a sun dappled whale in transitioning colours of blues and gold with a black and red nudibranch in the foreground. The subjects are set against vibrantly coloured geometric fields representing shafts of sunlight through the water.
Dimensions: 54" high x 45" wide.
